The role
- Contact and respond to account management enquiries as directed by sales
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, quotations and completion of CRM to ensure opportunities are valid and up to date
- Liaising with internal project and support teams to expedite quotations, bookings and customer enquiries.
- Qualification of smaller inbound or indirect sales leads.
- Preparing and presenting solution-led materials.
Your skills and experience
- Experience of a B2B environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Happy to pick up the phone and talk to customers in the open office
- Understand and follow brand guidelines in developing any presentation materials
- Can adapt your communication style dependent on audience
- Understands the role of a service provider to any stakeholder
- An eye for detail
- Good spelling, grammar and an eye for good layout
- Comfortable with numbers and checking the accuracy and logic of figures
- Complete paperwork with accuracy
- Quick to learn
- Learn quickly on the job taking the initiative to learn off the job
- Inquisitive - ask the right questions and show willingness to expand knowledge
- Engages in self-learning
- Puts new skills into practice at every opportunity
- Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Hours of Work
- Full-time - 38.75 hours per week. 1-hour unpaid break each day.
- Discretionary paid early finish (one hour) each week, usually taken on a Friday.
Location
- Fort Dunlop, Birmingham. We offer hybrid working with 60-40% split office-home.
Package
- Base salary - £26-28 p.a. - depending upon experience and education.
Standard Company Benefits
- On completion of the 3-month probationary period, auto-enrolment into the company workplace pension scheme. Contributions are 3% employer and 5% employee. You may choose to contribute greater contributions to the Scheme should you so wish. The employercontribution will then increase by 1% each year, on the next anniversary of the pension scheme renewal date (currently 1st July each year), up to a maximum of 8%
- Private Medical Health Insurance for employee only once has completed 12 months continuous service with the Company

- Death in Service benefit, once employee has successfully completed the probationary period, at the rate of twice annual salary
- 25 days holiday per annum, plus Bank Holidays. Pro rata for part time workers. After two years continuous service with the Company, holiday entitlement will increase at the beginning of each subsequent holiday year at the rate of one extra day per yearup to a maximum of 30 days holiday per year plus statutory bank holiday entitlement. Compulsory shut-down period at Christmas/New Year
