Mobile App Product Manager

Working for an ethically driven mental health & wellness consumer and B2B services company that sells a wide range of products and content to consumer and businesses globally, the Mobile App Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Native App ProductOwner role involves managing the company's app at a broad level, forming a clear roadmap to sequentially increase subscriptions.
They're expanding internationally and are driving adoption of digital services, delivered via a mobile app, as well as selling complimentary products such as books and gifts. They are a fast-growing team that have millions of consumer customers and are cashpositive.
The Mobile App Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Native App Product Owner will have full responsibility for the main Mobile App, shaping the roadmap to build, test and optimise new features, while continually driving adoption to grow subscriber numbers.You'll work with marketing teams, leaders within the business and an experiences Chief Product Officer to shape your priorities.
This is a hybrid role, working at their central London offices 1-2 days per week.
The Mobile App Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Native App Product Owner will:

- Lead product strategy and execution for The School of Life App.
- Lead on features development (with the support and collaboration of the wider Digital team) for the App to help create a best-in-class content app and scale the subscriber base.
- Be the key point of contact for the app development agency and lead on weekly calls with their product and development team to communicate the backlog priorities for the next sprint
- Clearly communicate hypotheses, and define success metrics and tracking parameters for all items in the backlog before briefing into the development team
- Lead on data analytics and insights to feed the product strategy
- Interrogate, analyse and synthesise various data sources including in-app data, voice of customer, internal feedback and competitor research to create features and tickets for the backlog to ensure a bug-free and enriching content experience.
- You will be responsible for continuously reprioritising the backlog based on business priorities and latest data insights.
- Maintain and manage the regular process for gathering user feedback on the app's features and performance
- Contribute to and execute the App content strategy
- Work with the Content team to define the content strategy for the App - upload, manage and maintain all app Content - report back to the Content team with insights on in-App content consumption to help define the content strategy
- Own app KPIs across revenue and in-app metrics
- Input into the annual app budget formation process and be accountable for hitting the app revenue targets
- Track and report on KPIs and usage data on a weekly and monthly basis for different audiences and contexts
- Work closely with the Marketing team to grow the subscriber base with innovative campaigns and partnerships
- Drive app store SEO and listings optimisation
- Support Marketing with ideas, assets and new marketing angles to promote the app via various channels and expand the user base
- Be an internal expert and ambassador for the App
- Work closely with other departments like Business team and Customer services to ensure they have all the information, assets and training need to successfully promote and troubleshoot the app to their respective audiences
- Work closely with the Website team and Marketing team to ensure the the App is promoted across the website as required
- Previous experience as a consumer mobile App product manager, ideally across iOS and Android
- Any experience of subscription services is an advantage, but is not essential
- Strong comfort with use of data to understand customers and app performance, and use of data to make decisions
- Any experience of content rich environments, such as media, entertainment, healthtech, wellness, etc would be an advantage, but is not essential
