**Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm**

**Company Overview**:
Technoprint specialise in supplying folded patient information leaflets to the pharmaceutical, healthcare and related industries within the UK, with exports to the EU increasing year on year.

We are accredited to ISO9001:2015 (Quality Management System), PS9000:2016 (Pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practice - GMP) and ISO14001:2015 (Environmental Management System).

**The role**:
We are a fast growing, innovative company looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Quality Officer to join our expanding team. It is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (inclusive) operating on a day shift pattern:
The start and finish times are as follows:
8.00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday

As a Quality Officer you will have a diverse role within the company, responsible for carrying out quality control checks on finished goods. You will work to specific quality and environmental standards and perform internal and supplier audits.
- Carry out quality control after print and final inspection checks on finished goods
- Review of batch documentation
- Palletise & dispatch of finished goods
- Raise, investigate and close out NCR’s
- Perform audits
- Stock control
- Incoming goods inspection and approval
- Warehousing and forklift duties, including van driving for local deliveries
- Local delivery of goods using company van (driving license is essential)
- Liaise with engineers
- To work to the standard operating procedures developed for your job role
- Maintain safe working practises
- Train and support new QC staff

**About You**:

- Knowledge and experience of quality control or inspection
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, PS9000 and ISO14001 standards (desirable)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and proactive
- Ability to work independently to complete tasks
- Ability to liaise effectively with other departments of the organisation
- Ability to work from job sheets and standard operating procedures
- Good organisational skills
- Previous experience of operating forklift truck (desirable)
