Our Daylesford family is growing, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate **Junior Tutor **to join our **Cookery School **team at our Gloucestershire farm.

**Full time** contract, 40 hours per week, salary **£25,000 - £27,000 pa** DOE. Please note that a flexible working pattern will be required in this role, and you would be required most weekends and some evenings.

**Experience required;**
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a Chef
- A solid grounding in the foundational skills

**The role**

The Cookery School at Daylesford farm showcases the best our sustainable organic farm has to offer. As a Tutor, you’ll guide fellow foodies on their sustainable culinary journey, whilst teaching them essential skills and techniques. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside and learn from experienced professionals on site, along with the different departments to really gain knowledge of all aspects of the business. Wider skills will be learned by proxy and constant training opportunities are available to assist your growth.

**About you**

**Main responsibilities;**
- To offer customers exceptional service and learning during their time at Daylesford, ensuring they leave educated and inspired
- To build and maintain strong relationships with all areas of the business
- You will have a keen eye for detail which will be required for the scaling of weekly classes.
- Will be required to procure produce from various areas of the business, learn and use our ordering system.
- Control and manage stock to maximise both our produce and our sustainability commitments
- Involvement in planning/procurement/ delivery of chefs table suppers for 12 guests up to once a week.
- Will have input on recipes, course content and calendar planning.
- We welcome open feedback to ensure we grow as both a cookery school, but also individually.
- Will have the opportunity to cover up to 25+ different styles of cooking class from BBQ and fire pit to afternoon tea and health and wellness focused workshops.
- To ensure all mise en place and scaling is completed as required
- To ensure the kitchen is always clean and presentable
- To ensure stations are fully stocked of correct equipment
- To play an active role in all classes, even if not teaching
- Ensure great knowledge of our produce
