**The role at Josh’s Care Company**:
**Rate of pay**:£12.75 per hour.**

**Location**:S12 2WA, Gleadless, Sheffield

**Contract**: Permanent

**Times**: The **day shift times are 7am - 7pm,** The **night shift times are 7pm - 7am.**

**About the role**:

- As a Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional specialised care to a vibrant man with a high-level spinal cord injury.
- This individual requires round-the-clock care, including ventilation support, tracheostomy care, moving and handling, personal care and pressure care.
- Our dedicated team comprises two skilled carers who are always on-site to provide support and care. We are seeking highly motivated professionals who possess a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills, and previous care experience, with knowledge of Complex Care being an added advantage.
- A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential attributes for this role, as you will be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our client's quality of life.

**To be considered for this position, you will need**:

- **Flexible availability.**:

- **To be available to start work mid September.**:

- **To be able to work days, waking nights and alternate weekends**:

- **A current DBS if possible (Paper or Update Service)**:

- **A drivers licence (preferred but not essential)**

**The service user**:

- Our service user is a 40-year-old man who is very family orientated and has a fantastic sense of humour.
- He is also a big football fan and supports Sheffield Wednesday.
- Our goal is to find someone who can create a fun and enjoyable environment for him, ensuring that he is always happy and smiling.
- He's eagerly looking forward to meeting his new Care Support Worker and building a meaningful connection with someone who shares his same interests and passions.
