HR Assistant

The HR Assistant will work closely with the company director and a outsourced HR team. You will manage on-boarding, offer letters, contracts in this expanding business.

**Description**
The key responsibilities of the HR Assistant in Brentford will be:
- Assist the recruitment process
- New starter on-boarding which includes offer letter and contracts, pre-employments checks
- Keeping the HR system up to date which includes adding new starters, leavers, employee details changes, payroll changes and salary uploads.
- Create and maintain filing systems and ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files.
- Absence management and supporting with disciplinary cases
- Processing leavers and working closely with managers to ensure all areas of the leavers process has been completed
- Completing employment references for employees.
- Processing Criminal Record Check / DBS checks
- Managing the right to work checks and visas to ensure we have valid working documents.
- Other general administration
- Taking minutes in ER cases or various meetings as required.
- Any other tasks and support required by the Director
**Profile**
The successful HR Assistant in Brentford will have:
- Experience in a prior HR Admin/ HR Assistant position
- Confident in on-boarding, contracts, off-boarding, right to work
- Experience with supporting in disciplinary cases
- Minute taking in ER cases
- Must have CIPD qualification
**Job Offer**
On offer for the successful HR Assistant:
- Standard working hours 9-5.30 -Mon to Thurs, 9-4.30 on Fridays
- Reduced working hours in school holidays 9 - 4 Mon to Fri
- Salary up to £30,000
