**Courier Express Agent - Heathrow Airport**

**What are we looking for?**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Courier Express Agent to join the wonderful and

dynamic team at ACP Worldwide. Based at Heathrow Airport, we have great transport

links, and are within easy access by car via the M25 and M4, as well as by tube & bus.

4 continents, along with partners in many more locations around the globe. We provide

a tailor-made service to each of our aviation customers, whether it be an airline or

company looking to source an aircraft for a charter flight, ACP are ready to serve.

**Who are we looking for?**

The right person for us is ambitious, possesses a great level of self-confidence, a strong analytical person who is happy to be hands on. The main role of the Courier Express Agent will be to oversee the loading of express material within a secure facility. You must be computer literate as there is a degree of data capture to be undertaken within our operations office, located in the same building. Full training will be provided.

You will also be expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date data that will be shared

and accessed through our in-house system.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Overseeing the build-up of courier traffic in readiness to dispatch to aircraft
- Transfer data from paper to electronic documentation into airline systems
- Alerting airlines of final load information
- Consulting with both customers and airlines in terms of space and allocations
- Taking deliveries and assisting with our warehouse operations
- Sort, scan and organise paperwork after entering data to ensure no items are missing

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of the Airline cargo industry & data entry within the airline industry (**preferable but not essential)**
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft package (MS Office, Word, Excel etc)
- Good command of English, both oral and written
- Good customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner
- Ability to communicate with others
- Five years traceable employment and educational history
- Provision of DBS to confirm suitability to work within a secure building facility
- A good general level of physical fitness

**Renumeration**

£24,500.00 P/A increasing to £26,000 after successful 3-month training period

Hours: Initially working 08.00-16.30 Monday to Friday during training.

Once your training has been completed this will then change to 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £24,500.00 per year
