An opportunity has arisen for a Global Payroll Team Leader to take responsibility for delivering our global payrolls across UK, Europe, USA, and APAC. You will be working in our People Services team, and reporting to the People Services Manager.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and mentor a small team of payroll experts to operate global payroll in line with SOX compliant procedures
- Review, recommend and implement improved approach to global payroll - including providers, processes and collaboration with Benefits, Equity, Compensation and HR shared service
- Manage internal HR and Finance stakeholders effectively as you lead the accurate & timely processing, payment and submission of:
- global payroll and associated processes;
- retirement/pension, employee benefits and share plans;
- employment taxes and related filings
- Contribute to the development of pension and benefit plan governance and controls (including UK flexible pension and US 401K and medical plans)
- Liaise with internal and external providers as necessary, acting as a key contact with payroll, equity and benefit providers and governmental authorities.
- Support the effective and efficient administration of our all-employee equity and benefits programs globally and locally
**Qualifications**:
You have an understanding of global payroll processes, providers and relevant legislation. You have experience with in-sourced and fully out-sourced solutions.
You worked in an international environment with experience of UK and US payroll. You will have knowledge reporting, administration, handling and presenting management information.
