**Operational Lead (Therapy and Audiology)**

**Starting salary: £43,828 per annum + benefits**

**Hours: 30 hours per week, 52 weeks/all year contract (term time only can be considered with pro rata salary to reflect those terms)**
- *FTE based on 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks: £54,785 per annum_

**Role Summary**

Here at Seashell Trust we provide care and education for children and young people (up to 25 years old) with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties and disabilities, sensory impairment and communication disorders and autism.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and innovative individual to take on the operational responsibility for our Therapy and Audiology services. We are very proud to have been graded as Outstanding in all areas during our recent CQC inspection and this is a new post to support the structure of our expanding health service to ensure that we maintain our high standards.

The post holder will work closely with the Head of Health and Wellbeing to lead on the delivery and continuous development of high-quality therapy and audiology services including internal and external health provision. The role will include line management of the team leads for Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Audiology and responsibility for the operational running of the therapy and audiology service to align with the overall strategic plans for the health service.

This is a **30 hours per week **opportunity and flexible days and working hours can be considered.

**Requirements**:

- Recognised Allied Health Professional qualification e.g. Speech and Language Therapy / Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy / Audiology
- Registered member of relevant professional body RCSLT/RCOT/CSP/BAA
- Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Demonstrable leadership and management experience and skills
- Commitment to continued professional development to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge
