**Job Description** _Salary 38,000 - 40,000 plus discretionary bonus and benefits _
This role will be a key support of the Marketing team, and whose purpose is to ensure the Marketing operations processes are created, built, implemented and adhered to within the team. That operational issues and risks are identified, recorded, mitigatedand managed in line with the broader Together risk appetite. The role reporting into the Governance and Risk function and will be responsible for the operational processes within the marketing team.
A key requirement of the role is to work closely with the Marketing team to advise and support the Group marketing function to ensure operational risk is identified and managed as part of business as usual operations.
The Marketing Operations Manager will serve as the backbone of the department, bringing people, processes and technology together, to evolve efficiencies, consistencies and governance.
They will create, implement, lead and improve operational processes and change, in order to increase team cohesiveness and use of best practices, which in turn, supports the delivery of positive outcomes and allows other marketing team members to focus onadding creative value.
They own the management and development of marketing operational frameworks,
They drive impactful change by engaging, informing and influencing team members, business stakeholders, third-party suppliers and agencies on projects, processes and software implementation, in turn, enabling performance enhancements.
They continually seek out and initiate innovative opportunities for self and team growth.
They work with many different colleagues within Together, but the key stakeholder teams are: Marketing, Products, Digital, IT, Compliance, Business Assurance, Finance, Group Risk and Legal.
Key Responsibilities
- High-level statement, include details like -to what or whom, with what result. Maximum of 10-12 bullet points
- Enable the marketing team to comply with external regulation such as SM&CR, MCOB3A, ASA and GDPR, by developing the workflow management system to adhere to the regulatory rules.
- Enhance department efficiency and productivity by owning and promoting the use of project/campaign, collaboration and asset management software, such as Wrike and Bynder. Lead impactful change through the implementation of regular improvement launches.
- Ensure department budget is spent in line with business plans by owning the operations budget, bringing the other department budget owners together and managing the use of our finance process.
- Keep supplier relationships healthy and support the on-boarding of new supplier and services, by overseeing our procurement and supplier management procedures.
- Reduce department and business risks by maintaining, reviewing and testing our risk register and business continuity plans.
- Train all relevant team members on operational procedures and marketing software when they join, take on new responsibilities, and/or when process changes are made.
- Create opportunities and optimise operational department performance by regularly monitoring people use of processes and software and then identifying innovative ways to improve.
**Qualifications** Essential
- Experience in both working in and leading marketing operations function
- Experience in building, implementing and embedding workflow management systems (ie Excellent communication skills and ability to challenge, influence and present to senior audiences
