**EVENTS PORTER (NIGHTS)**

Appetite4Work is seeking events porters for a range of shifts. Our client is a respected and well-established venue based in The City of London that caters for an exciting variety of events ranging from weddings to award shows. We are looking for well-presented and reliable individuals with a positive attitude who thrive in a fast-paced and social environment.

**What does an Event Porter do?**
- Room set-up and laying for conferences including coffee stations and bars.
- Breaking down rooms after conferences in advance of the next event.
- Moving and arranging furniture such as tables timely and efficiently (up to 25kg).
- Storing customers personal belongings and keeping storage logs.
- Ensuring a smooth and punctual handover to service staff in time for guest arrival.
- Representing our clients brand in the best way possible and staying presentable.
- Reporting any issues such as damage to furniture as soon as you notice.
- Acting in a safe and orderly manner at all times.
- Working effectively with other team members and different departments, acting as a general assistant where required.

**What are we looking for?**
- Previous recent experience in a similar role (events, hospitality, cleaning, logistics, etc) preferred but not required.
- Punctual and presentable.
- Physically comfortable with heavy lifting, moving furniture, etc.
- Adaptable and enjoys working in fast-paced environments.
- Confident communicator and a passion for delivering unforgettable nights for guests.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 0 - 40 per week

**Salary**: Up to £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
