**General Manager | London WC2N 6PA| Full Time | From £42,000 depending on experience**
Our client is a large venue right on Victoria Embankment, offering up late nights of House plus live music and performers as well as a stylish ground floor cocktail bar which is open seven days a week.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a diamond group within the London hospitality scene.
**Are you the right person for the job?**
- 3+ Years of Hospitality management experience is essential
- Willingness to manage Friday and Saturday late shifts is essential
- An experienced General Manager with a proven track record of building a strong team, whether that involves hiring new staff, or developing the team already in place
- A General Manager with a history of being fully financially accountable for the business, managing stock, HR procedures and all weekly reporting to Head Office
- Personal licence holder
**What will your role as a General Manager look like?**
- Recruiting, training, and motivating your staff
- Managing venue hire and events (private and commercial)
- Maintaining a good quality of beverage in general, especially beer and wine
- Enforcing health and safety rules
- Adhering to budgets, increasing profits, and managing cash flow
- Oversee the service of beverages within the Bar
- Ensure cashing up procedures are adhered to
- Ensure security staff is maintained and shifts appropriately covered and in accordance with licensing laws
- Ensure employee conduct, uniform and personal hygiene requirements are adhered to
- Produce effective rotas to ensure staffing levels are appropriate and efficient
- Report and where possible act in any incidents of complaint, accident, fire, loss, or damage
- Take responsibility for stock control, including ordering, acceptance, maintenance of stock levels and stock rotation
- Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities, and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises

**The interview process**
You will have an interview with the Operations Manager, and from there you will be invited for a trial shift over the weekend period, and after that, an interview with the Managing Director.
