Finance Manager – BP (Legal & General) Legal & General (L&G) is a leading UK financial services group and major global investor. We’re recruiting a Finance Manager – BP to join our Asset Management Finance team as a trusted Finance Business Partner to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This high‑impact role supports financial management and decision‑making across Investment Operations, Client Service Operations, and Central COO functions. Responsibilities Act as the primary finance contact for COO functions and their leadership teams. Deliver financial insight and challenge to support strategic and operational decisions. Develop and maintain financial models for planning, analysis, and investment cases. Model custody fee costs and contribute to automation initiatives. Partner with teams to identify and implement cost‑optimisation actions. Monitor and report on cost‑saving measures and efficiency improvements. Consolidate COO financials for monthly reporting and planning cycles. Prepare and present performance reports using Tableau and Power BI. Qualifications Strong financial acumen and analytical skills. Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels. Confidence in collaborating across cross‑functional teams. Curiosity and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. Relevant finance or accounting degree. Qualified accountant (e.g. ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA, ICAS). Experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
