A leading insurance company are currently looking for a Exposure Management Developer (ERM Developer) to join the company on a permanent basis. This will be a hybrid role with 2 days per week required in the London office.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintenance, development, enhancement and integration of new ERM systems and analytical tools, work flows and processes.
- Recording and modelling of exposure information with sufficient levels of detail and integrity.
- Assist with production of regulatory returns including: RDS, Lloyd's Catastrophe Model (LCM), PRA GIST, Solvency II.
- Assist with production of capital model catastrophe data feeds, internal management information, outward reinsurance placing information.
- Assist with Maintenance of existing centralised (bespoke) loss exposure management system (Athena 2).
- Assist with solution design and in the preparation of system test plans.
- Work with business and technical staff to resolve problems and respond to suggestions for improvements or enhancements.
- Ensure products have been produced according to company procedures and standards.
- Be responsible for testing, release (via change control processes), documentation (both technical and end user focused) and maintenance of the developed product.
- Liaise with DevOps/Systems teams to ensure successful design, development and deployment of products to production environments.
- Maintenance of existing (bespoke) centralised loss exposure management system (Athena 2).
- Analysing data to provide in depth insights into the the company's portfolio, including outwards reinsurance analysis, to present new and innovative ways of managing risk to Senior Management.
- Development of new methodologies and strategies to quantify and measure non-modelled risk, in conjunction with the model research and validation team and wider ERM department.
- Active participant in Exposure Management Strategy meetings and the exposure management working group.
- Maintain close, good working relationships with colleagues and customers of the department.

Theserequirements include Solvency II, fair treatment of customers, Financial Crime, Data Protection, Conflicts of Interest, and Whistle blowing.
**Skills and Experience**
Essential
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Exposure Management, including working knowledge of all major modelled catastrophe risk classes, both at an account and portfolio level.
- Advanced knowledge of Insurance / Lloyd's market concepts, including complex reinsurance structures and regulatory returns.
- Strong working knowledge of third party Catastrophe Models, especially AIR/RMS, and underlying concepts involved in Catastrophe Modelling.
- Working knowledge of non-modelled Catastrophe risk and the techniques involved in the quantification of such risk including methods of integrating with modelled risk.
- Experience of working in an agile product development environment.
- Knowledge of SQL Server T-SQL SSIS, SSAS, SSRS & ideally Python.
- Proactive approach to fault finding and issue resolution.
- Ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Produce technical support documentation.
- Experience of working within the full development lifecycle i.e. development, unit testing and release.
- Experience of Change Management in a large organisation.
- Experience of Azure/Version Control Systems.
- Working knowledge of non-modelled Catastrophe risk and the techniques involved in the quantification of such risk including methods of integrating with modelled risk.
