HR Assistant

We are currently seeking a professional, confident individual to join the Company as HR Assistant. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, dedicated, approachable and flexible and who displays excellent communication skills. The role requires the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
Supporting the Finance Manager in all aspects of HR and payroll, you will be responsible for administering the payroll function, as well as dealing with day-to-day enquiries in regards to HR/payroll matters.
In addition, you will take care of monitoring and recording staff absence and administering the full recruitment process including pre-employment checks in line with CQC requirements for all new staff. You will ensure that right to work checks have been undertaken and that Managers understand their responsibilities in relation to compliance in this area. You will maintain employee records, including employee files and electronic records.
Other tasks may be required from time to time in order to meet the business needs.
**Skills and Experience Required**
- Excellent IT Skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Sage 50 payroll (desired)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From £23,400.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Doncaster, DN4 5NU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Payroll: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- CIPD (preferred)
