Please note this role is hybrid and requires 3 days per week working from our Paddington, London office.

**What you'll do**

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the onsite Trading team in delivering a world class online customer experience in line with the set commercial objectives and digital strategy. Managing the delivery of the customer experience across all channels including web, tablet, mobile and in-store ordering devices.
- Planning and executing department landing pages and key campaign and promotional events on site
- Working with marketing to ensure aligned customer experience across all channels
- Analyse sales performance of web metric tools and make recommended changes on site based on data analysis. Monitor and analyse key web analytics to improve the customer journey
- Oversee M&S Chennai Site Merchandising team to deliver the customer journey and on-site experience to quality standards and timelines
- Review site merchandising daily to ensure we are presenting the best customer experience to our customers across all devices
- Support the Trading Manager in weekly performance probes and make recommendations to drive sales and conversion
- Identify opportunities for customer journeys, products, and development, daily and weekly trends in trade numbers and make recommendations
- Support in ensuring all promotions including sale are correctly set up and executed
- Collate and support information for lessons learnt/PIRs and run rate meetings

**Who you are**
- Passion for online, willingness and desire to learn new things with a can do attitude and a drive to do the right thing for the customer
- Attention to detail is a must with the ability to prioritise workload, plan and to work to deadlines
- Competitor and commercial awareness and ability to perform competitor analysis and reporting
- Understanding of trading, merchandising, and promotions
- Understanding of natural search / SEO and other key marketing levers would be beneficial
- Good level of Microsoft Office skills
