As an actuary on our team, you will be responsible for providing expert actuarial analysis and modelling, product development, and collaborating closely with a diverse range of clients across multiple business lines.

**We will count on you to**:

- Develop, review and enhance pricing models.
- Analyse pricing metrics, performance and loss data.
- Provide analytical support as part of a team of reinsurance professionals to facilitate the design and evaluation of structured reinsurance solutions for clients of Guy Carpenter.
- Support the development and maintenance of proprietary transaction models.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and actuarial best practices.

**What you need to have**:

- Solid actuarial experience, with reinsurance expertise to thoroughly understand the complexities of the work involved.
- Your route into this role maybe from broking, underwriting, or Big 4 consulting with relevant capital modelling expertise.
- Demonstrated experience in P&C reinsurance and or capital modelling.
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Qualified or nearly qualified actuary (e.g., IFoA, SOA, CAS, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in actuarial software and statistical/data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, SAS, Excel).
