**The Position**:

**The Key Responsibilities for the role are noted below and as a Senior HR Administrator you will also be expected to undertake any such duties that are deemed a reasonable requirement, for example, participating in any relevant projects that are related to the role.In addition, you will be required to participate in business and social events organised for staff.**:
**Your Responsibilities**:

- ** To prepare scan, index and verify internal documents received for scanning;**:

- ** Deliver a full HR service which is respected for its professionalism; helping the office to consistently deliver effective and efficient business performance;**:

- ** Advise on Company policies and procedures and develop an in-depth understanding of all handbook terms;**:

- ** Support and advise line managers with appropriate documentation and processing principles to use in people related matters;**:

- ** Provide face to face contact and support, as necessary;**:

- ** Ensure the escalation of matters which should be brought to the attention of the senior management team;**:

- ** Respond as appropriate to telephone calls/visits from employees encouraging the use of line managers where appropriate;**:

- ** Accurately process all employee related administration in Workday (HR Database) in respect of the employee lifecycle in accordance with required deadlines, will include pre-screening, employment letters, references, leaver documentation, promotions, transfers etc.;**:

- ** Work closely with the Workday team to ensure new processes and procedures are disseminated to the team and business as well as reviewing processes and recommending improvements for consideration ;**:

- ** Accurately process the monthly payroll in liaison with the Finance Team.**:

- ** Ensure that the HR database, records, reporting, files etc., are used correctly and maintained to provide accurate data as and when required;**:

- ** Maintain accurate absence records both in terms of days absence, frequency, benefit deductions and filing of medical certificates and remittances;**:

- ** Ensure all HR filing and scanning is maintained accurately and in a timely manner - both hard copies files and Laserfiche filing;**:

- ** Maintain the archive system, ensuring any leaver files are held for no more than 7 years before arranging destruction, in line with Guernsey GDPR legislation;**:

- ** Maintain the highest standard of confidentiality and security in terms of employee data and business information at all times;**:

- ** Work as part of the wider HR team ensuring that all procedures are followed accurately, allowing for continuity of service during busy periods or times of absence;**:

- ** Ensure all expenditure is processed in a timely manner, ie training expenses, introduction fees and legal fees etc.,**:

- ** Action any compliance review points in a timely manner;**:

- ** Proactively maintain personal and professional development in order to meet the changing demands of the role;**:

- **Ability to effectively and confidently multi-task taking both an adaptable and flexible approach to HR tasks;**:

- ** Possess effective time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines;**:

- ** Excellent communication skills both verbally and written to be able to liaise with different stakeholders on a technical level and deliver a great client service to colleague;**:

- ** Be capable of working effectively alone with initiative and be goal orientated, and as part of a team to achieve team objectives;**:

- ** Sound educational background with a willingness to study for professional HR qualifications;**:

- ** Drive personal development using all the resources available to achieve success (ELLA);**:
