**Job Title: Decorator**

**Location**: Brighton, East Sussex

**Role Overview**: As a Decorator, you will be responsible for preparing and painting various surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our clients' specifications. Your role will involve a range of tasks including surface preparation, painting, wallpapering, and finishing work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and removing old paint.
- Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired hues and finishes.
- Protect furniture, flooring, and other areas not to be painted by using drop cloths, masking tape, and other materials.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with client specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to ensure project goals are met.
- Follow health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Decorator in residential or commercial settings.
- Proficiency with painting tools and techniques, including brush, roller, and spray methods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Good physical condition and the ability to perform manual labour tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in painting and decorating are preferred.
- **Valid CSCS card.**

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- painting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
