We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Fencing Operative and Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team.

As a Fencing Operative and Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of fencing, as well as performing general grounds maintenance tasks. You will ensure that our clients’ properties are kept in excellent condition and meet safety standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Fencing Operations**:

- Install, repair, and maintain various types of fencing, including wooden, chain-link, and vinyl.
- Measure and layout fence lines, dig post holes, and set posts.
- Assemble and secure fence panels, gates, and other components.
- **Grounds Maintenance**:

- Mow, trim, and edge lawns using power mowers and edgers.
- Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges.
- Plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees; water as needed.
- Maintain and repair outdoor furniture, fences, gates, and walkways.
- **Seasonal Duties**:

- Clear snow, ice, and debris from walkways and driveways in winter.
- Rake leaves and remove debris in autumn.
- Assist with seasonal planting and mulching in spring and summer.
- **Equipment Operation**:

- Operate groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and chainsaws.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- **Waste Management**:

- Collect and dispose of litter and debris from grounds and public areas.
- Empty and clean rubbish bins regularly.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use personal protective equipment as required.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in fencing installation and grounds maintenance.
- Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.
- Knowledge of safe use and handling of fertilisers, pesticides, and herbicides.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
