In a nutshell:
This Stockport-based retail business, which specialises in fireplaces and outdoor furniture is looking for a Marketing and Social Media Manager to join their busy team.
The Company:
This is a fast-growing online retail business within the home improvement and heating industry. Comprising of two websites and a busy showroom selling fires, fireplaces and stoves.
The products they supply have a high-ticket value and retail directly to the public and trade accounts. The customers expect high standards to reflect the investment that they are making, and the customer service team is there to ensure that orders are followedfrom the moment they are placed, to delivery and any issues that might be faced after the order has arrived during the lifetime of the product.
The Role:
My client are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Marketing & Social Media Manager to develop creative and engaging social media strategies and produce content that enables growth and an increase in B2C sales.
- Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels
- Research, identify and understand industry trends and insights
- Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools.
- Optimise marketing ideas for customer acquisition alongside conversion rates
- Brand recognition - Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns
- Manage collaborations, source blog opportunities & ensure high quality content received
- Full reporting and analysis on the performance of social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights
- Regularly recommend and highlight areas for performance improvements
- Increase brand awareness and customer engagement
What you'll need:

- Proven knowledge of social media platforms
- An understanding and a love for tools & technology - able to leverage new tactics and techniques
- Track record of social growth & engagement
- Excellent creative writing skills for content and blog purposes
- Demonstrable experience in delivering social media content for creative campaign
