**THE ROLE**
I am excited to be working with this ever-successful Washington based business as they look to embark on a period of change within their IT function.Working in the energy market this organisation has seen continued growth due to their market leading technologywhich helps increase the efficiency of energy consumption.
**Salary**: up to £25,000 based on experience
- **Location**: Washington, Tyne & Wear
**Hybrid working**:Yes
**Working Hours**:Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (37.5 hours per week)
**Holidays**:25 days plus bank holidays
**Personal Development**: The opportunity to undertake professional training courses (including ITIL and Microsoft Foundations).

As the business is growing, they are now looking to bring more of their IT Support in-house and you will help mould this transformation. You will work closely and be supported by the IT Director to help develop the new look team.
**DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Your main function will be as the first point of contact for IT Support across the business offering remote and desktop support, though as the transition to bring the IT Support in-house you will also be involved with project work and planning.
- Delivering 1st and some 2nd line support, troubleshooting, fixes, solutions, or resolutions.
- Day-to-Day call management of open tickets.
- Help to identify and recommend any improvements to existing procedures.
- Work closely with external 3rd party providers for more technical support.

This is more than a straightforward 1st line role and something that will allow you a lot of opportunity to define the role and learn new skills.
**YOUR SKILLS**
You will be able to demonstrate:

- Experience working with Microsoft 365 administration.
- An ability to troubleshoot problems across Microsoft Stack, Windows 10, Active Directory, Mobile Devices, hardware, and software issues.
- Competencies to build laptops and desktops via InTune.
- An understanding of networks.
- An ability to be self-motivated yet capable of working in a team.
- An excellent approach to customer service.

Though not essential it would be beneficial if you have a history of:

- Call ticket management
- An understanding of ITIL methodologies.

A fantastic opportunity to get involved with an IT department as it looks to establish itself. You will have the support of an IT Director keen to help you progress and there will be opportunities for you to help develop your own skills.
