**Quality Control Engineer
Immediate Starts Flexible Start and Finish times
**Our client is recruiting for a Quality Control Engineer on a full-time permanent basis. The Quality Control Engineer will report will report directly into the Quality Manager and liaise directly with all members of staff.
Working hours are Monday to Friday with flexible times.

**Salary**: £38,000 - £42,000 pa
**As a Quality Control Engineer your main duties will include**:

- Provide support to the production process with regard to Quality issues and inspection and shipping approval of products as required
- Goods Incoming QC activities as per process requirements
- Part of team carrying out audits and approval of new, and monitoring of existing suppliers
- Collection of data and implementing actions with suppliers where necessary.
- Liaising with suppliers on quality issues, raising supplier NCR (Non Conformance Reports) / CAR (Corrective Action Reports). and returning materials as required
- Part of team facilitating Change Control processes
- Work in teams to produce Process flow, FMEA’s, Work Instructions & Control Plans.
- Prepare product specific documentation to capture information demanded by the control plan.
- Initiating and participating in gauge R&R and the analysis of results.
- Final acceptance of new products into production.
- Maintenance of Quality, H&S and Environmental systems to support Quality Manager
- Maintenance of Document Control systems
- Education and training of staff regarding Quality, H&S and Environment
- Investigation into root cause of internally and externally identified non-conformances.
- Management of the RMA repair process and analysis of findings to improve the company processes and procedures
- Raise Internal Quality Alerts and issue to the relevant internal department.
- Facilitate the concessions process.
- Part of the team for internal and external auditing of processes to ensure regulations and standards are being adhered to

**Quality Control Engineer Key Attributes**:

- Hands-on experience in a production test and assembly environment of medium volume (10-100 per batch) electronic assemblies.
- Drive, energy and a keen desire to propose and implement manufacturing improvements.
- Competence with spreadsheets and statistical analysis of yields and failure mechanisms.
- An affinity with electromechanical assemblies and the ability to conceptualise and design test and assembly fixtures and guides.
- The ability to design and run product reliability experiments.
- Qualified Internal Auditor
