Job description:
Due to an internal promotion, we’re on the lookout for an IT Project Team Leader to support a talented team of IT Project Managers, working on a range of projects across the UK. The role will be based out of our head office in Northampton, or our IT offices in Manchester
- however there is a level of flexibility, so we’d love to hear from you if you’re based in the UK.

You’ll predominantly work Monday-Friday office hours
- however we do ask for a level of flexibility.

**Pay, benefits and more**:

- We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £60,000 per annum.
- Company car or car allowance
- 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Manage, guide, support and develop IT Project Managers - ensuring regular 121’s and PDR’s are completed and tracked.
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of project workload and overall project delivery tracking - providing weekly portfolio reports to the Head of IT Projects.
- Ensure that the appropriate project delivery methodologies, standards, processes, controls and tools are being successfully implemented.
- Provide assistance and guidance to the overall PMO team - working closely with the Head of IT Projects regarding PMO team goals, development, and improvement plans.

**What you need to succeed at GXO**
- Proven Senior IT Project Manager with Prince2 Practitioner qualification
- Proven experience of delivering IT and Customer On-Boarding implementation projects
- Experience of Logistics Applications and Solutions is essential
- Ability to communicate effectively at all stakeholder levels, both internal and external
- Proven ability to bring about effective change to meet the demand of the business and IT
