Gtechniq are manufacturers of advanced car, bike, marine and aviation care products.

We are a fast-growing team based in Upper Heyford, Northamptonshire (off Junction 16 of the M1).

Due to our continued expansion, we are currently recruiting for a full time Warehouse Team Leader to join us, working 7am - 3pm, Monday to Friday. These are permanent hours so there will be no rotation onto different shifts.

The Warehouse Team Leader will support the Operations Manager with the day to day running of the warehouse area which includes 2 warehouse facilities in close proximity, displaying strong leadership skills and ensuring that all team members meet warehouse quality standards.

**Duties include**:

- Day to day supervision, monitoring and leadership of the warehouse team
- Responsibility for the overall productivity of the warehouse team, ensuring that delivery schedules are achieved at all times
- Communicating with staff on a daily basis through shift start up, to make them aware of priorities, targets, and operational requirements
- Supporting the Operations Manager with improvement projects such as warehouse picking and shipping and efficient layout
- Good understanding of customer expectations, minimising warehouse errors by conducting random pick and location checks
- Assisting with packing orders / bagging up of products / stock preparation ready for shipping/assisting with Counterbalance duties during busy periods or staff absence
- Ensuring inbound of planned quantity and correct storage of products in both warehouse locations
- Actively supporting operational change, including high priority action items, continuous improvement and system projects, whilst effectively minimising disruption to service levels
- Supporting Operations Manager with labour planning, performance reviews and developing a training matrix for the warehouse team
- Supporting with monthly cycle counts and annual stocktake
- Conducting return to work interviews and managing holiday allocation

**Skills and experience required from you**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leading role essential
- Strong communication skills
- Positive can do attitude
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office suite) and WMS
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Counter Balance License desirable

**Working hours**:
This is a full time, permanent role working Monday-Friday, 7am to 3pm.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £31,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
