Do you have a strong logistics IT systems, commercial and customer facing background?

With over 120 Projects per year and growing, GXO is looking for a Team Leader IT Solution Team to lead, develop, and manage our UK IT Business Solutions function and support GXO’s continual new business growth across existing and new sectors.

You will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and direction to the IT business solutions team, whilst working closely alongside our business development, bid, solutions, operations, and finance teams, providing IT Business Solutions & commercialsupport for all UK business opportunities.

This is a permanent role, 37.5 hours per week, typically 0900 - 1730 but flexibility is needed

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday pay (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Lead the IT Business Solutions team and manage the programme of tender opportunities (RFI/RFQ/RFP) across all Business Units Including contract renewals, linking in continuous improvement, and innovation initiatives.
- Manage and develop the IT Business Solutions team providing a clear framework, structure, and direction to support business and customer requirements, whilst allowing staff to develop necessary skills and experience.
- Work closely alongside our business development, bid, solutions, operations, and finance teams, providing end-to-end IT business solutions & commercial support.
- Develop and manage relationships with IT functions, solutions, operations, project management, business development, finance, and innovation teams to improve the IT business solutions & tender management service whilst supporting workload management andplanning.

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Experience as a Senior IT Manager, Business Systems Manager or Programme Manager within a logistics environment.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of the IT Implementation, Solution Design, Business Development, and Commercial Lifecycles across the technology and logistics systems domain.
- Experience in a commercial, customer facing IT Role, including strong financial acumen, IT Costing, and budgetary control / management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to work closely with and influence senior stakeholders from across the business.
