We are looking for a Senior Motion Designer to join Skyscanner's Brand Studio team. You will help to define our motion language and set standard practices for our brand through craft, storytelling and hands on creation of extraordinary work. Your role will mix both the high-level strategic oversight of video and motion for the company with hands-on animation and development of campaigns and projects across a wide variety of channels and mediums. As part of the wider Brand Marketing team, you will enjoy all the benefits of working within a collaborative and dynamic environment alongside a multi-disciplinary team of creatives, designers, writers, illustrators, producers and makers.

Motion design is your superpower, but a balanced appetite for editing and working with footage will benefit you in this role. You bring attention to detail, taste and craft combined with world-class mastery of easing and fluidity of motion to everything you do. You work well with art directors, designers and writers to storyboard and bring to life engaging narratives that capture the magic of our tools and the brilliance opportunity that is the world of travel. You can guide and direct other motion designers and freelancers in embracing our brand and motion guidelines and ensure that everything we produce aligns to our standards.

**On any given day you might...**
- Storyboard, ideate and create eye catching, ownable and engaging content
- Work with Art Director/Copywriter teams to create stand out content across all mediums and channels
- Help establish and lead the motion design expression for the brand
- Build and grow the motion design team and opportunity within the larger org
- Collaborate across teams to elevate and deliver global projects and campaigns showcasing the power of possibility of world-class motion, animation and storytelling.

- You are an experienced motion designer hungry to create the best work of your life
- You are excited by the idea of building a billion dollar brand where you can actually make a dent in the universe
- You are a self starter who dedicated to creating award-winning work
- You understand how to cater video content to different channels, how to hold viewers' attention, and how to format video for delivery across a range of platforms for maximum impact
- A craftsperson who is eager to create unexpected, engaging and highly effective content
- Previous experience as a Motion designer/Editor or similar, either in-house or with a tier one agency
- Equally comfortable working alone or part of a wider team
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Stakeholder management skills and experience in managing agencies or freelancers
