Reporting to the Group Product Owner for Platform Services, in the EVA Platform Software Domain, we are seeking a strong Product Owner who will evolve and maintain the product roadmap of our Data Management product under development. You will be part of a strong and competent team with a complex and demanding stakeholder landscape and your primary responsibilities are to ensure clear goals are set for the deliveries of your agile squad (Data Management 1).

This means owning the backlog, facilitating the creation of features and stories in collaboration with Product Management, Architecture, and wider stakeholders who will leverage the platform under development.

You will participate in PI planning, ensure delivery of prioritised stories and perform reviews and demo signoff at each Sprint/PI boundary.

You enjoy communicating and you have significant experience working globally with virtual teams. You are a leader, experienced in setting goals and comfortable with ambiguity and embrace uncertainty. Ideally, you are an experienced Product Owner with a background in software engineering.

The role of Data Management 1 within the Platform Services Group is to enable a SOA architecture by defining and owning the process for API definition, approval and release for a common sets of service API’s to be used within the architecture by all clients including offboard.

The squad is also responsible for the development of the software required in order to support the implementation of the specified API’s for a phased migration where part of the vehicle is still signal based. Hence data translation is required through the software component (signal to service bridge).

Alongside this the squad defines the requirements and test cases for the network communications (for both signal and service based architectures) for each of the commodity areas, and is responsible for the configuration of the Ethernet interfaces, including the switch configuration and software development of the switch manager for the network switches.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**
- Work closely with technology leadership to maintain, evolve and align the assigned Technology Vision and Product Vision into a single product roadmap
- Set Product OKRs and connect the product roadmap to incremental product development and value realisation.
- Act as primary contact between technical engineering teams and other teams we interact with including Enterprise IT, Cloud CoE, SW Quality & Security.
- Consult with and resolve uncertainty on varied engineering use cases and required solution outcomes.
- Monitor, with support of the Platform Services group and Data Management squad, key product performance indicators (KPIs), as well as release-specific success metrics.
- Partner with business enablement functions to ensure best experience to customers when using delivered products and features.
- Responsibility for data driven decision making based on new product features and /or product enhancements.
- Comfortable at communicating to business stakeholders on progress and benefit realisation.
- Competent and experienced at managing scope and business-related risks, issues and mitigations.

Engage with the One Domain ecosystem to optimize objectives, performance and value realisation.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

**Essential**:

- Bachelor level degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or similar discipline
- 10+ years of engineering experience.
- 5+ years of engineering product management / product ownership experience.
- Working knowledge of Network Protocols and a background working in the field of communication technologies.
- Technical knowledge and experience of the Autosar methodology and software configuration process
