We are looking for experienced Plant Operators to join our growing continuous operation Production Team. Our Plant Operators will work to Standard Operating Procedures, becoming multi-skilled, operating a variety of machinery, producing our innovative, precision parts, to an advanced specification and high quality standard.

**What you’ll be doing as our Plant Operator**:

- Follow Standard Operating Procedures producing high quality parts.
- Completing processes from raw material batch manufacturing to assembly.
- Operating various plant equipment and machines.
- Champion continuous improvement and provide feedback to internal departments on the manufacturing process.
- Process jobs as scheduled on the internal database as well as entering operational data regarding quality and output.
- Action Quality Issues and support all Non-Conformance meetings.
- Support product and process optimisation in line with the quality needs of the business.
- Maintain high levels of Health & Safety standards.

**The Skills, Knowledge and Experience you will need as our Plant Operator**:

- Proven background in Manufacturing environment.
- Experience of working to high specifications.
- Competent working to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Identify and utilise best practice methods for working tight tolerances.
- Able to work to tight time lines and multi-task in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Experience in operating in a 5S environment.
- Able to work to high safety and quality standard, with a variety of equipment and materials.
- The ability to work as part of a team and on your own with minimum supervision.
- Excellent problem solving skills.

**Need to have**:

- Experience working to SOP’s.
- Manufacturing and machine operation experience.
- A multidisciplinary approach to work.
- 5s experience.
- A delivery focused approach to quality of work.
- The ability to work at a pace whilst in pressure situations.

**Nice to have**:

- Furnace Operating experience
- Basic lean manufacturing principles
- Continuous improvement
- RCCA’s
- MS Office skills

**Shifts**:
Shifts across Monday - Sunday

4 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 4 days off - 6am - 6pm, followed by 4 nights on, 4 nights off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off - 6pm - 6am

**Salary**:
£38,500 including shift allowance
