**SUMMARY**
Burlington Slate Ltd is seeking a motivated, passionate individual to join our team as a Full-Time Quarry Operative. In this role, the Operative will be responsible for assisting the Deputy Quarry Manager with various tasks for safely extracting slate from the quarry.

This person will learn drilling operations, wire sawing, use of explosives and plant operating, full training will be given.

Role Includes:

- Willing to work safely in challenging conditions.
- Able to work to company policies and procedures.
- Able to self
- motivate and to work as a team with others.
- Use of specialist quarrying equipment and plant machinery.
- Experience desirable but full training will be given.
- May be required to work at various company sites.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Must be able to operate company vehicles as well as operate equipment in the warehouse.
- Able to work in all weather conditions and in all types of terrain

**Salary**: £12.56 per hour
