**JOB TITLE**:Purchasing Administrator (Fixed Term Contract - Maternity cover)

**LOCATION**:Taunton, Somerset

**HOURS**:Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm

**SALARY**:£19,000 - £23,000 Depending on experience

**BENEFITS**:28 days annual leave including bank holidays, Free parking, Company Pension and £150 paid towards work uniform.

**THE COMPANY**:A long standing established company who are a UK based leading manufacturer in the construction industry.

**THE ROLE**:You will be required to effectively operate and liaise between key business areas. You will be reporting to the Production Director and Purchasing Manager and you will be a key part of the team.

**KEY DUTIES**:

- Assisting the Production Manager
- Assisting the Purchasing Manager with orders
- Dealing with bolt schedules and ordering fixings
- Liaising with suppliers
- Dealing with order queries
- Assisting with transport scheduling
- Processing delivery notes and purchase invoices and inputting on to the system
- Dealing with invoice queries
- Scanning of job sheets
- Inputting of timesheets
- Filling of contracts, design, purchasing and accounts paperwork
- Updating project for orders
- Purchasing department admin and general office duties
- Answering the main telephone line and transferring through to relevant people

**THE CANDIDATE**:

- Previous experience in an office or administration role is required
- Computer literate with working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
- Great telephone manner
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
