An opportunity has arisen for a driven and passionate individual who would like to learn a professional role that is critical to the business.

Based at our Bridgwater factory, reporting to the Operations Manager, where you will join a small team and your responsibilities will include.
- Purchase administration and order processing using an ERP system.
- Reviewing order acknowledgements & resolving potential issues.
- Expediting materials from suppliers ensuring on-time delivery in full to the specification required.
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
- Assisting the Operations Manager in project costing.
- Researching and assisting in the development of new and existing suppliers.
- Resolving delivery issues.
- Maintaining the Purchasing department filing system.
- Liaising with Accounts department on payment & invoice matters.
- Any other reasonable duty as assigned by the Operations Manager.

- Good verbal communicator as you will need to liaise with external suppliers.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Knowledge of manufacturing production and processes desirable.
- Thorough attention to detail.
- Ability to establish and develop relationships with internal and external sources.
- Analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to be flexible and be open to changes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own or as part of a team.

Previous experience is desirable, however not essential as training will be given.

- 37.5 Hour Week. Core hours, 8.00am start time finishing time 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch, 5 days a week.
- There is a 1-hour flexible Start & Finish time. Providing you complete a minimum 7.5 hours per day.
- 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays, this increases 1 day per year worked to a maximum of 25 days + Bank Holidays. 3 days are allocated for Christmas shutdown
- Contributory Private Pension scheme that the company will match your contribution of 4%. You do have the option of having this contribution paid into a pension of your choice.
- Death in Service Insurance 1 x salary.

There will be a 6-month probationary period.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
