**Job Description Summary**: The Site Purchaser is in charge of getting quotes for material purchased on site and to upload and maintain the purchasing data in the ERP.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- To delegate relevant purchasing task to the Site Purchaser Assistant
- To ensure timeliness process of purchase requisition received
- To send inquiries to vendors and get quotes for the purchase
- To verify compliance of order compared to requirements, negotiate pricing and contractual terms. Prepare Purchase Order draft
- To get approval as per Delegation of Authority (DoA) after confirmation of supplier and the cost
- Places orders with qualified suppliers listed in the ERP or after duly assessment of the potential
- Work with requestors, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to manage supplier day-to-day problem resolution
- Prepares and issues order modifications, if any
- Assure that material/services will be delivered on schedule, at negotiated price and meet required EHS/quality standards
- Releases invoices for payment in cooperation with the respective functional managers
- Ensure organized and systematic filing system is in place
- Support, maintain, and update key sourcing tools
- Ensure all applicable process directives are properly followed
- Managing vendor data (onboarding new vendors and updating the current ones) in corporate databases and ERP system, checking up and requesting qualification process for the concerned vendors/products/services
- Providing input on site procurement activities for periodic reports
- Makes sure purchase requisition is processed on time
- Purchase order is issued on time and follow up on the delivery
- Advise the approved suppliers in the ERP
- Collect feedback from PR originator and monitor the performance of suppliers

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Business Administration or similar
- Good knowledge on suppliers in territory
- Experience in working in construction site environment
- Basic understanding of Sourcing & Procurement processes in manufacturing industry
- Proficient in English (oral & written)

**Desired Characteristics/Skills**:

- Good communication skills and negotiation skills
- Proactive, reliable, dependable, trustworthy, good attention to details
- Capable to meet deadline
- Experience in handling RFQ, procurement of direct materials and services is preferred
- Knowledge of SAP ERP system would be an additional asset
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
