**Job Summary**:
The role also involves providing administration support within the Club.
The position is part-time and consists of three working days per week.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and bank statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts regularly.
- Prepare and file financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Cashflow Statements and Balance Sheets.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records.
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and assist with tax preparation.
- Work closely with accountants and auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage expense reports, petty cash, and other financial documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
- Assist in managing the Administration Function within the Club including HR, Health & Safety and contracts.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Croft, Sage) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Recognised accounting/bookkeeping qualification.
