**Job Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, etc.)
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with payroll preparation and related tasks
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Work with accountants for year-end financial statements and tax returns
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, )
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- AAT qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential
