Priory Woking provides private acute mental health and addiction services (inpatients and day patients), and run extensive private outpatient clinics.

We are looking for a part time Medical Secretary with excellent organisational skills and a calm and methodical approach to provide essential secretarial/administrative support to our Medical Director. In addition, when required or to cover periods of annual leave to also provide secretarial/administrative support to our Consultant Psychiatrists.

Role Overview:

- Running the Medical Director’s clinic; ensuring that inpatients are seen twice a week in accordance with our compliance regulations and ensuring that discharge summaries are sent within their specified time to third parties with GDPR clearance.
- Organising monthly Consultant meetings and quarterly Medical Advisory Committee meetings.
- Working closely with the Admissions Team to provide a seamless enquiry and admission process.

Essential Personal Attributes:

- A high level of both written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail.
- The desire to provide exceptional patient centred care with a caring and empathetic approach.
- IT literacy with a good understanding of programmes such as Word, Excel, Outlook and the use of an Outlook Calendar.

We want you to flourish in your new role so training will be provided. In addition, further training for the Healthcare Industry is given with some mandatory classroom training sessions also.
