- Reporting into our _**_Technical Lead for Salesforce_**_, the role will serve as the day to day point of contact technology leader for BCA’s Remarketing Salesforce estate providing to both external and internally facing stakeholders. Collaborating closely with our commercial and operations teams the _**_Salesforce Administrator _**_helps_ _lead the product development team to execute against our strategy, and deliver the right commercial outcomes and customer benefits. This role will also work closely with both BCA’s wider Salesforce Community of Practice and any partners, with a clear and open path for obtaining certifications and career progression._

As a **Salesforce Administrator**, you will play a vital role at British Car Auctions. We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback and designing best practice solutions. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore the Junior Salesforce administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction a priority.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and a desire to keep learning. The Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable liaising with users and enjoy learning new business processes in order to translate them into technical solutions.

This role works closely with the wider product** **community and key business stakeholders to define and manage the product roadmap and ensure that products and features released securely, robustly and methodically.

**Key Responsibilities**

This is a varied business-facing role, with the following responsibilities:

- All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
- Providing technical support for all CRM users, managing support calls in order of urgency and escalating calls where needed
- Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders
- Basic Salesforce Administration (Data maintenance, dashboards, reports, fields, page layouts, etc).
- Keeping up to date with Salesforce releases.
- Assist with implementing & testing all-new enhancements and add-ons from Salesforce releases as well as and custom internal enhancements.
- Create step-by-step user guides/manuals & deliver training to users.
- Provide regular reporting to the Salesforce CRM Development Team and the Head of CRM as required.

**Skills and Experience**

**Required**
- 2+ years hands on experience with Salesforce
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as troubleshooting expertise
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise effectively and escalate issues as required
- Working knowledge of Salesforce configuration. (Process Builder, Formula fields, Validation rules)
- Working knowledge in creating Salesforce reports and dashboards

**Desirable**
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Demonstrates enthusiasm towards continued personal/professional development
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment.
- Active in the Salesforce community
