**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive activities programme tailored to the interests and needs of residents.
- Coordinate daily activities, including arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, and outings.
- Foster a warm and welcoming environment that encourages resident participation.
- Collaborate with caregiving staff to ensure activities are suitable for residents with varying levels of ability.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback to continually improve the programme.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote upcoming events and gather input on activities.
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a care settings is essential.
- Background knowledge particularly in dementia and Alzheimer’s care, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
- A compassionate approach to caregiving with a genuine interest in enhancing the lives of seniors.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Creative thinking skills to develop innovative programmes that meet the diverse needs of residents.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
