As an IQA, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor assessors to ensure assessments meet awarding body and regulatory requirements.
- Review and validate assessment decisions to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Provide feedback, guidance, and training to assessors to support their professional development.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of IQA activities and decisions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external awarding body standards.
- Prepare for and facilitate external quality assurance visits or audits.
- Identify and implement opportunities for quality improvement in assessments and teaching practices.
- Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
**Requirements**:
- Recognized Internal Quality Assurance qualification (e.g., Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of assessment and quality assurance principles.
- Proven experience as an IQA within education or training settings.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to assessors.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with awarding body requirements and regulatory frameworks.
