Based in Manchester, bMindful provides a wide range of specialist psychological therapy services to support children, adolescents and young people and those who care for them.

bMindful is a specialist service that focuses on supporting children and young people, to better understand their difficulties in the context of their lived experiences.

Our services are provided to children and young people aged 11 - 18 years who have suffered significant trauma and abuse and need a safe and nurturing environment to help them recover from their early childhood trauma and move on to long term sustainable placements.

**Job description**

We are seeking an experienced and innovative HCPC registered Psychologist to deliver, training, consultation and direct work with children, young people and their carers. You will work with providers of care for Looked After Children and Young People to provide detailed assessments and formulations which inform therapeutic care and risk management. Support and advice is offered to the staff teams with a view to developing an understanding within the teams of the impact of developmental trauma, how this translates into behaviour and how to work therapeutically with this group. You will support and advise the teams across the region using your psychological expertise. You will also support the delivery of tailored therapeutic training to upskill care staff. Full training in regard to our courses and delivery will be provided.

Ideally you will have proven multi-site experience in supporting teams to provide attachment-based trauma informed care.

**Salary**: Up to £55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
