**Lincolnshire County Council** is looking to recruit an experienced Management Surveyor OR Customer Relationship Manager to become our **Portfolio Team Leader **and lead a small team of Portfolio Officers to proactively manage the Council’s diverse portfolio of managed workspace and industrial units. The postholder will make a major contribution to strategic, professional, legal, performance and political matters to ensure the efficient use of the portfolio to support economic growth across the county. **About the Role**: **There is flexibility for this opportunity to be based in Lincoln, Market Deeping or Holbeach however there will be a requirement for travel throughout the county as the role requires.** This position is critical in delivering a proactive and professional property management service whilst demonstrating exceptional levels of customer care and political acumen in accordance with industry standards and the County Council's Policies and procedures. This role will cover all of Lincolnshire, supporting each of the three Portfolio Officers, as well as being responsible for their own portfolio of premises, and providing professional advice and leadership across the wider Place Directorate. The role is varied and challenging and you will have the opportunity to broaden your skills through training and development to support your surveying career. Your workload will include dealing with commercial property agency, new lettings, lease renewals, repairs and maintenance etc with a high profile interface with tenants and elected members. **About the Team**: The Economic Infrastructure Team is responsible for leading on a range of property based initiatives designed to support and nurture prosperity and economic growth across the whole of Lincolnshire. As well as managing it’s own premises, the Team also project manages new build schemes and is implementing the sale of several employment sites. The postholder will be required to provide professional and technical support advice to other team members working in these areas. **About You**: The postholder will be qualified as an Associate Member of the RICS (AssocRICS) or be working towards this qualification with a view to obtaining MRICS status. OR have a demonstrable level of knowledge and skill suitable for the role. Above all else, you need to have a positive "can do" attitude and be passionate about ensuring the Economic Infrastructure Team delivers for the residents of the county. **_Lincolnshire County Council has a flexible working policy, which includes themes such as a flexitime approach, condensed hours, as well as initiatives such as buying additional leave.
