Site Attendant

Our client in **Blantyre** is currently looking for a **Site Attendant** to assist with the operation of their Transfer Station.
The position will involve;
- Assisting in the safe operation of the Household Recycling Centres & Transfer Stations.
- Communicating with customers, staff and other employees in a courteous manner
- Maintaining Transfer Station & HWRC surrounding area in a clean and safe condition by regular sweeping and litter picking
- Controlling traffic entering and exiting the Transfer Station by radio communication with machine operators.
You will be required to be confident in dealing with members of the public when helping dispose of household waste.
Must have full driving licence and own transport as may be required to move between sites; **Strathaven, Blantyre & East Kilbride**.
Required to work outside in inclement weather at times.
It would also be advantageous if you are IT literate to help with inhouse duties.
Working hours are **8AM - 5PM** or optional overtime of **8AM - 8PM**.
You must be flexible regards hours of work as the shift pattern usually rotates on a
4 on/4 off basis.
Salary**:£9.87 per hour**
