Recruiting for a full-time Team Manager to work across Cleveland & County Durham
Team Managers will hold the local operational and performance management responsibility, and line manage all front-line delivery roles. Team Managers will manage the local relationships with agencies including probation, police, IOM, police and other localorganisations to support Service Users across a range of statutory and mainstream services which form an essential network for achieving Service User outcomes.
**Lead & Manage the Service**:
- Support successful delivery of the Dependency & Recovery Service to Service Users.
- Deliver exceptional operational performance to achieve contractual KPIs.
- Monitor and manage day to day quality of provision.
- Line manage Dependency & Recovery Senior Navigators, Navigators, Guides and Recovery Champions.
- Lead, coach, develop and motivate high quality Senior Navigators, Navigators, Guides and Recovery Champions to support participants of low, medium and high complexity cases with one-to-one comprehensive advice
- Manage Team performance to exceed their targets through regular performance reviews
- Increase employee engagement.
- Plan and forecast the resource requirement and ensure effective and timely recruitment.
- Operational liaison with NPS Responsible Officers, IOM, police, stakeholders and
- Identify opportunities for standardisation and integration and identify, utilise and share best practise.
- Monitor ways of working and management information and identify ways to continuously improve.
- To work with Ingeus to support delivery of its implementation plan and adapt Ingeus’ service offering to ensure that it is aligned to the Commissioner’s final service specification; and
- Integrate the FTEs within the Ingeus contract area (North East, Humberside, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire) teams, to case manage medium and high complexity cases,
- Work peripatetically and be based within the Ingeus premises allocated to the Programme,
- Linking up with community services such as the Northumberland Park Medical Group and provides DRRs/ATRs/RARs in the community, also linking with IOM.
- Leverage HK’s existing provision and local strategic and operational links. Attendance at:
- North-East Regional Continuity of Care Forum, bringing together Prison DART (Drug and Alcohol Recovery Teams) and all 12 Local Authority Community Substance Misuse Providers. The forum also attended by NDTMS reps, NHSE, OHID, Hep C Trust and HMPPS Healthand Justice Co-ordinator (managed by County Durham Probation).
- Strategic Reconnect Board chaired by NHSE bringing together HMPPS partners, PCCs and Local Council social care reps
- Training needs analyse and sharing of staff training in Human Kinds areas of expertise, including delivery materials and approaches, activities etc so that the service appears homogonous to those that access it
- To work with Ingeus to support delivery of its implementation plan and adapt Ingeus’ service offering to ensure that it is aligned to the Commissioner’s final service specification.
- Work peripatetically and be based within the Ingeus premises allocated to the Programme.
- Undertake any other duties which fall reasonably within the nature, grade and responsibilities of the post.

- Maintain compliance to all Ingeus and Human Kind policies and procedures.

- Ability to navigating a complex landscape of dependency and recovery support services.
- Ability to engage and motivate and to demonstrate resilience.
- To demonstrate a high standard of personal and professional integrity in accordance with the Ingeus Code of Conduct.
Desirable
- Management experience in employability industry.
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system and legislation in relation to the Rehabilitation of offenders Act.
- Lived Experience to engage/re-engage Service User.
- Knowledge of national and local initiatives in relation to dependency & recovery.
- Experience of working in a multi-agency environment and developing partnerships.
- Ability to drive and own a car as travel will be required.
- ICT literate.
