Accounts Assistant

Reporting to the Finance Manager the main duties of the role will include the below -- Processing of purchase invoices and other accounts payable tasks;
- Processing of sales invoices and other accounts receivable tasks;
- Liaising with other Departments, Suppliers and Customers;
- General administration and other ad hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications, experience and skills required:
- Good standard of general education including G.C.S.E. Mathematics and English, grades A*-C (or equivalent);
- Previous accounts experience in a similar role;
- Strong technical skills including Excel and experience of SAGE or similar accounting package;
- Excellent attention to detail and a consistently high level of accuracy;
- The ability to manage their own time, organise and take responsibility for their work, and deal with queries efficiently and promptly;
- An enthusiastic and flexible approach with a 'can do’ attitude;
- The ability to appreciate organisational objectives and deadlines, working with the rest of the team and supporting others as required to achieve these;
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
The business works solely from the office in Pontyclun.
- Benefits include pension and onsite parking with an early finish on Friday
- Hours of work are 08.45 to 16.45 Mon - Thursday, and 08.45 to 13.45 on a Friday so 35 hours a week
- Holiday entitlement is 25 days plus BH
