**About us**
Hepworth blinds is a family run business based in South Wales with 3 additional showrooms in the South West area. We manufacture and supply made to measure blinds which are distributed to both retail and trade customers.
Our shared offices are based within our factory setting where we have a small but friendly team of people working together.
**Job Title**: Bookkeeper
**Job Summary**:
**Duties**:
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Process payroll and maintain employee records
- Prepare financial reports for review by management
- Utilize accounting software, Xero to record transactions
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenses
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficiency in using accounting software like Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
**Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualities**:
- Familiarity with other accounting software programs
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
- Work independently within a shared office
- Good understanding of Excel
- Friendly communication and manner in person and on the phone

Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
