The Challenge

This isn't a risk role where you'll be locked away from the operation, our client knows that for risk management to really work its needs to be fully integrated into the business and everyone's decision making processes.
You'll be highly visible in your role and at all levels across the business, delivering bespoke support and solutions to teams depending on their needs (and of course their risks)
About You
First and foremost, our client is looking for a person who fits their empowered and friendly culture, who will take pride in the work they do.
On top of that, your CV needs to evidence that you're experienced in working with operational and financial risk, and that you've implemented and managed risk frameworks during your career. We're also looking for you to show is that you're a tenacious communicator,and able to work under pressure and at pace.
If you have experience in working in a financial institution or a regulated industry it would be an advantage.
Package
Package wise, the role comes with a salary of around £45,000, NEST pension, 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a £50 per month wellness fund.
Our client's office is located in central Newcastle, but there is no expectation that you'll be in the office every day. The team are happy working virtually but you would need to be in a position to go into the office a couple of times per month if needed.
