**Reporting to**: Quality Manager

**Purpose**:
Responsible for the full recycling process at Lenham, coordinating and collaborating with our colleagues in the UK, Clervaux, Wiltz R+D (Luxembourg) and across EMEA. Ensure the recycling centre operates in a safe, efficient manner to meet process and quality targets. Further scope of this role includes undertaking the environmental and sustainability requirements of the Lenham product portfolio.

**Accountabilities**:

- You will be part of a small efficient team within the quality department, focusing on recycling and sustainability for Lenham manufacturing. An understanding of product quality, process optimisation, product development and standardisation will also be central to this role.
- You will be required to have the capability to operate all recycling system machines, with a view to becoming the resident expert for the recycling centre and sustainability.
- You will ensure that all work is undertaken to the highest standards of safety and quality. Standardisation of all the recycling activities is to be developed where needed and continually maintained.
- You will be given full training on the fundamental principles of WCM (World Class Manufacturing) methodologies and methods. WCM is a way of life for our manufacturing plants and is key to our operating excellence.
- Participation in team problem solving, continuous improvements and product development related to sustainability will be required. Included in this will be EMEA division and Tarkett group meetings (online and at other plants) to share best practices, and group initiatives required for manufacturing plants.

**Person Specification**

The Recycling and Sustainability Co-ordinator must demonstrate the following competencies:

- An engineering degree or equivalent industry qualifications/experience is preferred.
- Manufacturing/industrial background.
- A keen learner and good team player.
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
- Problem solving, analysis and good attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm and determination.
- Flexibility with accuracy and organisation.
- PC and software documentation skills.
- Reliable, flexible, hardworking and diligent.
- Have a ‘hands on’ and proactive approach to their work.
- Have the ability to respond to changing business priorities.
- Experience working with ISO 14001 standard would be an advantage.
- Experience of working within a manufacturing/continuous production line environment would be preferable.

**Hours of work**:
Monday to Friday - 08:30-17:00 (30 minutes unpaid for lunch).

Own transport required due to location.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
