Clinical Trial Co-ordinator

The busy Research and Innovation Department at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is looking to recruit a Clinical Trial Co-ordinator, to provide comprehensive administrative support in the management and oversight of an ever-growing portfolio of research studies.
We are looking for someone with excellent administrative and computer skills with a good attention to detail. You do not need to have a background in research administration, although this would be an advantage. You will have a good knowledge of Microsoft packages and experience with databases is essential for the role. On the job training is provided with ongoing day to day support as needed. You will provide administrative support to research staff including setting up trial documents, liaising with Trust staff across a wide range of departments, inputting patient data, organising diaries, liaising with research companies and archiving trial documentation. You will work with staff at all levels, be able to work as part of a team and autonomously and be willing to take on new challenges. This role is based at Maidstone hospital
The role would suit an experienced administrator/co-ordinator who would like to take on a new and exciting challenge and venture into research. It would also suit a graduate who is looking to start their career in research administration.
