In this role you would be working in a multinational utilities business as a Service Desk Team Lead. This role is a permanent position leading a team the service desk team, making it an efficient, cost-effective service desk. Working as a Service Desk TeamLead with this organisation you would be working on a hybrid basis, where you would have the opportunity to work at home and in the office. This opportunity is located in the Newcastle office. The role as a Service Desk Team Lead is looking to pay in the regionof £25,000 - £30,000 / annum.
Your new role:
- In your new role as Service Desk Team Lead you will be managing the Service desk team ensuring appropriate staffing levels are available
- You will be expected to manage personal and team workload while maintaining SLA's across the team
- As the Service Desk team Lead you will be preforming monthly 1:1's and hold team meetings with the staff members
- In this role you will perform quality checks to ensure that all tickets have been correctly categorised, prioritised and escalated
- You will need to ensure that appropriate technical documentation is received and service desk staff are trained for new services to be provided
About you:
- Looking for an individual who has prior experience as a Service Desk Team Lead
- You will have a good technical background and knowledge of common software packages
- You will have good knowledge of leading IT Service Management Tool
- You will have experience of desktop operating systems including Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Microsoft Windows 10.
- You will have excellent communication skills
