**A fantastic opportunity for an Administrator to join our team in the North region based in Barnsley supporting the operational project delivery and Asset Management teams with the day to day administration for a busy portfolio of rail infrastructure maintenance works.**

**Business Unit**

A busy and fast paced rail maintenance and asset management project environment. The business unit consists of ‘small’ maintenance projects both reactive and planned around the rail network. They are responsible for the maintenance and repair of rail assets in a long-term framework / contract agreement with works typically ranging in type, scale and value.

Projects can typically include repair and maintenance to bridges, tunnels, structures, stations, embankments, flood and weather damage, signage, de-vegetation, fencing, handrails etc.

**The Role**
- Maintain routine records relating to items processed, files documents and keeps filing systems up to date such that information can be readily retrieved.
- Plan own work to meet priorities and delivers to pre agreed deadlines.
- Filing of project information as required, including uploading electronically.
- Perform general internal administrative duties, including stationary ordering, copying drawings and general photocopying.
- Order of PPE items as required & sundries items.
- Collate the whereabouts for the following week for all office based staff.
- Provide inputs into client and company reports as required.
- Support and take part in company / industry initiatives as required.
- Support wider support teams as required.
- Maintain electronic diary system (Outlook).
- Other tasks as may from time to time be deemed necessary and are authorised by line managers.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in an Administrative role (construction or civil engineering experience may be beneficial)
- Able to organise and prioritise own workload and work autonomously
- IT literate with a working knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages including Excel, word and PowerPoint.
